The House

About

Jewellery as unique as
the person wearing it

ANAGARI is a jewellery brand established four years ago, dedicated to creating jewellery that is as unique as the person wearing it. Every piece is thoughtfully customized according to the customer’s preferences, from design and gemstones to metal, finish, and engraving. We believe jewellery should tell your story, which is why every creation is crafted exclusively for you with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.

The house

We chose depth
over breadth

The sensible commercial move for a young house would have been to become a trading operation — take orders, place them across a dozen workshops, take a margin on coordination. It is a good business and several of our contemporaries have built one.

We went the other way and brought the capabilities in-house instead: casting, then lapidary, then plating, then a quality function that could say no to a supervisor. It was slower and considerably less profitable to begin with. It is the reason we can hold a tolerance on a one-off commission, which is the only kind of commission we take.

The people

Karigars, and the
long apprenticeship

A competent stone setter takes about seven years to make. There is no shortcut and no machine that does it, which is why the industry's real constraint has never been capacity — it is people who can hold a tolerance at four in the afternoon as reliably as at nine in the morning.

We pay above the Jaipur rate, run a daylit floor, and train openly rather than keeping people on one operation to make them harder to poach. The house is four years old; the hands on the floor have between fifteen and forty years each. That second number is the single best predictor of whether your commission will be right.

Why houses stay

Ten reasons, honestly held

No minimum order

Every collection starts somewhere, and no house should have to commit to volume before the market has told it anything. Test at ten pieces, run at two thousand — the unit economics move, the terms never do.

One person, start to end

A single named production manager carries your order from the first conversation to the final airway bill. Nothing is handed between departments, so nothing is explained twice or lost in the gap between them.

Designs stay yours

Whatever is developed for you remains wholly your intellectual property, stated in writing at the engagement. It never enters our sample book, never appears at a fair, and is never re-cut for another buyer.

Bench-made, not assembled

Filing, setting and finishing are done by karigars who have spent decades at the same bench, not stepped down an assembly line. A machine-finished shoulder always reads as one, at every price point.

Delivery you can plan on

Lead times are quoted from real floor capacity rather than from what you would like to hear, and they carry a stated confidence. You hear about a slip from us before the date passes, not after.

Open costing

Metal, stone, labour and finishing arrive itemised rather than blended into a single rate. When gold moves you can see precisely what it did to your unit cost, and argue with the line that moved.

Technical problem-solving

Our engineering bench resolves the difficult constructions before production opens — a setting that will not hold, a shank that keeps failing, a stone that chips at the girdle. Solved at CAD, not discovered at gate four.

Direction, not just supply

We will tell you when a construction is wrong for the price band or the market, rather than quietly quoting what you asked for. What is moving in the halls we exhibit at gets shared before the season, not after it.

Long relationships

The majority of our volume goes to houses we have supplied for more than a decade, several past twenty years. Partnerships compound; transactions do not, and we have built the business on the former.

International standards

Manufacturing runs to globally accepted quality standards with documented inspection method and audited sourcing. Hallmarking, nickel release, REACH and Prop 65 are handled inside the job, never billed as consultancy.
