The House

Heirloom service

Bring us what you inherited

Restoration, re-setting and remodelling — including for pieces the house did not make. Most of what arrives here is a broken clasp and a strong memory.

What we do

Four kinds of
second life

Restore.Rebuild worn claws, replace lost stones, re-string, re-plate and re-polish. The piece comes back as itself.

Re-set.Keep the stone, change the setting. Most commonly a grandmother’s solitaire moved from a 1960s illusion mount into something wearable.

Divide. One necklace becomes three pendants for three siblings. Difficult conversation, straightforward workshop job.

Remodel.Melt and recast. We will talk you out of this more often than into it.

Process

How it runs

Photograph

Email us pictures from three angles and any history you have. No obligation, no charge.

Assessment

We give you a written condition report and a fixed quotation. If it is not worth doing, we say so.

Your decision

Nothing is cut, melted or unset without a signed approval — and, for anything irreversible, a second conversation.

Work & return

Four to eight weeks depending on scope, with photographs at the halfway point. Returned insured, in an ANAGARI box.

Start here

It usually begins with a photograph

Send whatever you have — a bad phone picture of a box in a drawer is a perfectly good beginning.
