Customise this pieceReference SI-055 is a band ring, made in 18K Yellow Gold, holding 12 stones and built around continuous rather than centred. It measures 3.0 mm width, and weighs 2.8 g gross. This one began at the bench rather than on paper. Emerald sets the temperature of the piece and yellow gold follows it — the internal garden is the identifying feature, not a fault. The mount is cast in 18K Yellow Gold, then filed, emeried and pre-polished before setting. The setting on SI-055 is rub-over bezel at 3.0 mm width. All 12 stones are seated individually against the reference tray rather than to a jig. Final polish runs on a bristle wheel at low speed to keep the edges crisp. It passes six inspection gates between wax and pouch.
Emerald Vine Band is shown in 18K Yellow Gold — 18K, 75% fine gold, warm, and the traditional choice for yellow and green stones. The same mount can be made in white gold, rose gold, platinum or 950 palladium, quoted on the metal weight of 2.8 g rather than a flat uplift. Platinum runs roughly a third above 18K on this design because it is denser and slower to work. All gold and platinum is BIS hallmarked with the ANAGARI maker's mark.
18K Yellow Gold — 75% fine gold alloyed with silver and copper for a warm, slightly deep yellow. Struck with the BIS hallmark and the house mark.
Total carat weight is 0.92 ct, made up of emerald and diamond. Emerald is Mohs 7.5–8 and oiled, which is universal — the internal garden is the identifying feature, not a fault. Colour is matched across the run under standard light, and any stone over 0.30 ct in a diamond piece ships with an independent certificate. Colour stones carry an ANAGARI identification report; IGI or GIA certification is available at cost.
Emerald — Beryl coloured by chromium and vanadium. Almost every emerald has inclusions — the trade calls them jardin, and they are a certificate of nature.
Diamond — Natural, conflict-free and traceable to the cutting house. Graded by IGI or GIA above 0.30 ct.
Metal weight is logged against the approved first article and must fall within two per cent — 2.8 g on SI-055. Six inspection gates sit between wax and packing: wax, casting, pre-polish, setting, finish and final. Setting is checked at ten-power on all 12 stones, and nothing advances on a supervisor's word alone. Made in Jaipur under one roof, which is why a query is answered the same afternoon rather than the next month.
Emerald Vine Band was made with birthdays, birthstones and the pleasure of colour, May birthdays, twentieth anniversaries and green in winter and ordinary Tuesdays, which is the hardest test a piece faces in mind. It is not a piece that needs a reason. Sizing runs IN 5 to IN 18; resizing up to two sizes is complimentary for life.
Emerald Vine Band is one of the references we will rebuild to order. Straightforward changes — a different centre stone, a change of metal to white gold, carat weight up or down and a matte, satin or hammered finish in place of the polish — are specified in the customisation studio and add nothing to the lead time; booking and pricing follow once the specification is settled. Structural changes, such as taking this band to a different architecture entirely, need a conversation and a new CAD; that runs six to eight weeks from approval. Private-label and OEM versions of this mount are quoted from one piece upward.
Emerald Vine Band sets emerald and diamond together, so: do not put this piece in an ultrasonic cleaner — Emerald will not survive it. Warm water, a drop of pH-neutral soap and a soft brush is the correct method. Most of the cleaning that matters happens on the reverse of the gallery. Store separately and flat — a shared pouch is a slow-motion accident. Remove before contact sport, gardening, and whenever you apply fragrance, sunscreen or hand cream.
