This one began at the bench rather than on paper. Pink Tourmaline at this size wants a drop treatment — pyroelectric, and it attracts dust because of it. Lost-wax cast in 18K Yellow Gold, cleaned up by hand and pre-polished at the bench. The setting on SI-006 is rub-over bezel at 19.0 × 9.6 mm. All 4 stones are seated individually against the reference tray rather than to a jig. Final polish runs on a bristle wheel at low speed to keep the edges crisp. It passes six inspection gates between wax and pouch.
Rubellite Cabochon Drops is shown in 18K Yellow Gold — 18K, 75% fine gold, warm, and the traditional choice for yellow and green stones. The same mount can be made in white gold, rose gold, platinum or 950 palladium, quoted on the metal weight of 5.1 g rather than a flat uplift. Platinum runs roughly a third above 18K on this design because it is denser and slower to work. All gold and platinum is BIS hallmarked with the ANAGARI maker's mark.
18K Yellow Gold — 75% fine gold alloyed with silver and copper for a warm, slightly deep yellow. Struck with the BIS hallmark and the house mark.
Total carat weight is 6.40 ct, made up of pink tourmaline and amethyst. Pink Tourmaline is Mohs 7–7.5 and untreated — pyroelectric, and it attracts dust because of it. Colour is matched across the run under standard light, and any stone over 0.30 ct in a diamond piece ships with an independent certificate. Colour stones carry an ANAGARI identification report; IGI or GIA certification is available at cost.

Weight, dimension and stone count are checked against the signed first article — 5.1 g on SI-006. Six inspection gates sit between wax and packing: wax, casting, pre-polish, setting, finish and final. Setting is checked at ten-power on all 4 stones, and nothing advances on a supervisor's word alone. Made in Jaipur under one roof, which is why a query is answered the same afternoon rather than the next month.
Rubellite Cabochon Drops was made with birthdays, birthstones and the pleasure of colour, openings, dinners and any room you intend to be remembered in and a wardrobe rather than an occasion in mind. It photographs well, but it was built to be looked at from a foot away. Posts are 18K with butterfly backs as standard; screw backs and clip fittings are available at no extra cost.
