The brief was proportion before ornament. Citrine sets the temperature of the piece and white gold follows it — natural citrine is genuinely rare. The mount is cast in 18K White Gold, then filed, emeried and pre-polished before setting. The setting on SI-014 is rub-over bezel at 9.4 mm face. All 2 stones are seated individually against the reference tray rather than to a jig. Final polish runs on a bristle wheel at low speed to keep the edges crisp. It passes six inspection gates between wax and pouch.
Citrine Duet is shown in 18K White Gold — 18K, 75% fine gold, rhodium-plated over a white alloy, renewed free for life. The same mount can be made in yellow gold, rose gold or 950 platinum, quoted on the metal weight of 4.0 g rather than a flat uplift. Platinum runs roughly a third above 18K on this design because it is denser and slower to work. All gold and platinum is BIS hallmarked with the ANAGARI maker's mark.
18K White Gold — 75% fine gold alloyed with palladium, then rhodium plated for whiteness. Re-plating is complimentary for life.
Total carat weight is 3.80 ct. Citrine is Mohs 7 and heat-treated amethyst, usually — natural citrine is genuinely rare. Colour is matched across the run under standard light, and any stone over 0.30 ct in a diamond piece ships with an independent certificate. Colour stones carry an ANAGARI identification report; IGI or GIA certification is available at cost.
Citrine — A citrine selected in-house for saturation and clarity, matched by eye to the metal it sits in.
Metal weight is logged against the approved first article and must fall within two per cent — 4.0 g on SI-014. Six inspection gates sit between wax and packing: wax, casting, pre-polish, setting, finish and final. Setting is checked at ten-power on all 2 stones, and nothing advances on a supervisor's word alone. Made in Jaipur under one roof, which is why a query is answered the same afternoon rather than the next month.
Citrine Duet was made with birthdays, birthstones and the pleasure of colour, ordinary Tuesdays, which is the hardest test a piece faces and a wardrobe rather than an occasion in mind. Worn daily it will show its finish honestly, which is the intention. Sizing runs IN 5 to IN 18; resizing up to two sizes is complimentary for life.
Citrine Duet is one of the references we will rebuild to order. Straightforward changes — a different centre stone, a change of metal to yellow gold, carat weight up or down and a matte, satin or hammered finish in place of the polish — are specified in the customisation studio and add nothing to the lead time; booking and pricing follow once the specification is settled. Structural changes, such as taking this cocktail to a different architecture entirely, need a conversation and a new CAD; that runs six to eight weeks from approval. Private-label and OEM versions of this mount are quoted from one piece upward.
Citrine Duet sets citrine, so: do not put this piece in an ultrasonic cleaner — Citrine will not survive it. Warm water, a drop of pH-neutral soap and a soft brush is the correct method. Brush the back of the setting rather than the front — that is where light enters and where dulling happens. Rhodium renewal is complimentary for life and typically wanted every eighteen months on a ring. Remove before contact sport, gardening, and whenever you apply fragrance, sunscreen or hand cream.
