This one began at the bench rather than on paper. The white gold was chosen against peridot rather than the other way round — olivine from the mantle, and the only gem that comes in one colour. Cast in 18K White Gold by lost wax, then filed and pre-polished before a stone goes near it. The setting on SI-015 is rub-over bezel at 9.0 mm face. All 2 stones are seated individually against the reference tray rather than to a jig. The last polish is deliberately slow, because speed rounds an edge that took an hour to cut. It passes six inspection gates between wax and pouch.
Peridot Duet is shown in 18K White Gold — 18K, 75% fine gold, rhodium-plated over a white alloy, renewed free for life. The same mount can be made in yellow gold, rose gold or 950 platinum, quoted on the metal weight of 3.9 g rather than a flat uplift. Platinum runs roughly a third above 18K on this design because it is denser and slower to work. All gold and platinum is BIS hallmarked with the ANAGARI maker's mark.
18K White Gold — 75% fine gold alloyed with palladium, then rhodium plated for whiteness. Re-plating is complimentary for life.
Total carat weight is 3.20 ct. Peridot is Mohs 6.5–7 and untreated — olivine from the mantle, and the only gem that comes in one colour. Colour is matched across the run under standard light, and any stone over 0.30 ct in a diamond piece ships with an independent certificate. Colour stones carry an ANAGARI identification report; IGI or GIA certification is available at cost.

Every piece is weighed and dimensioned against the approved article before it leaves the floor — 3.9 g on SI-015. Six inspection gates sit between wax and packing: wax, casting, pre-polish, setting, finish and final. Setting is checked at ten-power on all 2 stones, and nothing advances on a supervisor's word alone. Made in Jaipur under one roof, which is why a query is answered the same afternoon rather than the next month.
Peridot Duet was made with birthdays, birthstones and the pleasure of colour, ordinary Tuesdays, which is the hardest test a piece faces and a wardrobe rather than an occasion in mind. Worn daily it will show its finish honestly, which is the intention. Sizing runs IN 5 to IN 18; resizing up to two sizes is complimentary for life.
Peridot Duet is one of the references we will rebuild to order. Straightforward changes — a different centre stone, a change of metal to yellow gold, carat weight up or down and a matte, satin or hammered finish in place of the polish — are specified in the customisation studio and add nothing to the lead time; booking and pricing follow once the specification is settled. Structural changes, such as taking this cocktail to a different architecture entirely, need a conversation and a new CAD; that runs six to eight weeks from approval. Private-label and OEM versions of this mount are quoted from one piece upward.
Peridot Duet sets peridot, so: do not put this piece in an ultrasonic cleaner — Peridot will not survive it. Warm water, a drop of pH-neutral soap and a soft brush is the correct method. Brush the back of the setting rather than the front — that is where light enters and where dulling happens. Rhodium renewal is complimentary for life and typically wanted every eighteen months on a ring. Remove before contact sport, gardening, and whenever you apply fragrance, sunscreen or hand cream.
