The brief was proportion before ornament. The yellow gold was chosen against turquoise rather than the other way round — porous, and it takes colour from whatever it meets. Lost-wax cast in 18K Yellow Gold, cleaned up by hand and pre-polished at the bench. The setting on SI-032 is rub-over bezel at 32.0 × 8.0 mm. All 8 stones are seated individually against the reference tray rather than to a jig. Final polish runs on a bristle wheel at low speed to keep the edges crisp. It passes six inspection gates between wax and pouch.
Turquoise Marquise Drops is shown in 18K Yellow Gold — 18K, 75% fine gold, warm, and the traditional choice for yellow and green stones. The same mount can be made in white gold, rose gold, platinum or 950 palladium, quoted on the metal weight of 4.8 g rather than a flat uplift. Platinum runs roughly a third above 18K on this design because it is denser and slower to work. All gold and platinum is BIS hallmarked with the ANAGARI maker's mark.
18K Yellow Gold — 75% fine gold alloyed with silver and copper for a warm, slightly deep yellow. Struck with the BIS hallmark and the house mark.
Total carat weight is 7.20 ct, made up of turquoise and malachite. Turquoise is Mohs 5–6 and stabilised — porous, and it takes colour from whatever it meets. Colour is matched across the run under standard light, and any stone over 0.30 ct in a diamond piece ships with an independent certificate. Colour stones carry an ANAGARI identification report; IGI or GIA certification is available at cost.

Metal weight is logged against the approved first article and must fall within two per cent — 4.8 g on SI-032. Six inspection gates sit between wax and packing: wax, casting, pre-polish, setting, finish and final. Setting is checked at ten-power on all 8 stones, and nothing advances on a supervisor's word alone. Made in Jaipur under one roof, which is why a query is answered the same afternoon rather than the next month.
Turquoise Marquise Drops was made with birthdays, birthstones and the pleasure of colour, openings, dinners and any room you intend to be remembered in and a wardrobe rather than an occasion in mind. Worn daily it will show its finish honestly, which is the intention. Posts are 18K with butterfly backs as standard; screw backs and clip fittings are available at no extra cost.

Straightforward changes — a different centre stone, a change of metal to white gold, carat weight up or down and a matte, satin or hammered finish in place of the polish — are specified in the customisation studio and add nothing to the lead time; booking and pricing follow once the specification is settled.
