Customise this pieceReference SI-077 is a pendant necklace, made in 18K Yellow Gold, holding 96 stones and built around a single point of interest at the sternum. It measures 34.0 × 22.0 mm, and weighs 6.8 g gross. It sits in the signature part of the book, and is made to your specification — price and booking on request, once we understand what you want changed.
This one began at the bench rather than on paper. Ruby sets the temperature of the piece and yellow gold follows it — chromium is what makes it red rather than pink. In this form, the bail is sized to the chain rather than to the eye. A winged horse in profile, the wing pavé-set with ruby and the head left as polished gold. Modelled from a Gupta-period bronze.

Cast in 18K Yellow Gold by lost wax, then filed and pre-polished before a stone goes near it. The setting on SI-077 is rub-over bezel at 34.0 × 22.0 mm. All 96 stones are seated individually against the reference tray rather than to a jig. The last polish is deliberately slow, because speed rounds an edge that took an hour to cut. It passes six inspection gates between wax and pouch.
Pegasus is shown in 18K Yellow Gold — 18K, 75% fine gold, warm, and the traditional choice for yellow and green stones. The same mount can be made in white gold, rose gold, platinum or 950 palladium, quoted on the metal weight of 6.8 g rather than a flat uplift. Platinum runs roughly a third above 18K on this design because it is denser and slower to work. All gold and platinum is BIS hallmarked with the ANAGARI maker's mark.
18K Yellow Gold — 75% fine gold alloyed with silver and copper for a warm, slightly deep yellow. Struck with the BIS hallmark and the house mark.
Total carat weight is 1.86 ct. Ruby is Mohs 9 and heat-treated, as the trade expects — chromium is what makes it red rather than pink. Colour is matched across the run under standard light, and any stone over 0.30 ct in a diamond piece ships with an independent certificate. Colour stones carry an ANAGARI identification report; IGI or GIA certification is available at cost.
Ruby — Corundum coloured by chromium. Ours are principally Burmese and Mozambican, heat-treated only.
Metal weight is logged against the approved first article and must fall within two per cent — 6.8 g on SI-077. Six inspection gates sit between wax and packing: wax, casting, pre-polish, setting, finish and final. Setting is checked at ten-power on all 96 stones, and nothing advances on a supervisor's word alone. Made in Jaipur under one roof, which is why a query is answered the same afternoon rather than the next month.
Pegasus was made with birthdays, birthstones and the pleasure of colour, openings, dinners and any room you intend to be remembered in and the evenings that justify a jeweller in mind. It is not a piece that needs a reason. Supplied on a chain to your length; 40, 45 and 50 cm are stocked and anything else is made.
Pegasus is one of the references we will rebuild to order. Straightforward changes — a different centre stone, a change of metal to white gold, carat weight up or down and a matte, satin or hammered finish in place of the polish — are specified in the customisation studio and add nothing to the lead time; booking and pricing follow once the specification is settled. Structural changes, such as taking this pendant to a different architecture entirely, need a conversation and a new CAD; that runs six to eight weeks from approval. Private-label and OEM versions of this mount are quoted from one piece upward.
