The brief was proportion before ornament. The yellow gold was chosen against peridot rather than the other way round — olivine from the mantle, and the only gem that comes in one colour. In this form, a stud is judged on how flat it sits. One olive stone per ear, in the smallest bezel the atelier will make. The first piece many people buy here.

Cast in 18K Yellow Gold by lost wax, then filed and pre-polished before a stone goes near it. The setting on SI-010 is rub-over bezel, post and butterfly at 6.8 mm. All 2 stones are seated individually against the reference tray rather than to a jig. Final polish runs on a bristle wheel at low speed to keep the edges crisp. It passes six inspection gates between wax and pouch.
Peridot Bezel Studs is shown in 18K Yellow Gold — 18K, 75% fine gold, warm, and the traditional choice for yellow and green stones. The same mount can be made in white gold, rose gold, platinum or 950 palladium, quoted on the metal weight of 2.4 g rather than a flat uplift. Platinum runs roughly a third above 18K on this design because it is denser and slower to work. All gold and platinum is BIS hallmarked with the ANAGARI maker's mark.
18K Yellow Gold — 75% fine gold alloyed with silver and copper for a warm, slightly deep yellow. Struck with the BIS hallmark and the house mark.
Total carat weight is 2.20 ct. Peridot is Mohs 6.5–7 and untreated — olivine from the mantle, and the only gem that comes in one colour. Colour is matched across the run under standard light, and any stone over 0.30 ct in a diamond piece ships with an independent certificate. Colour stones carry an ANAGARI identification report; IGI or GIA certification is available at cost.

Every piece is weighed and dimensioned against the approved article before it leaves the floor — 2.4 g on SI-010. Six inspection gates sit between wax and packing: wax, casting, pre-polish, setting, finish and final. Setting is checked at ten-power on all 2 stones, and nothing advances on a supervisor's word alone. Made in Jaipur under one roof, which is why a query is answered the same afternoon rather than the next month.
Peridot Bezel Studs was made with birthdays, birthstones and the pleasure of colour, ordinary Tuesdays, which is the hardest test a piece faces and a wardrobe rather than an occasion in mind. It photographs well, but it was built to be looked at from a foot away. Posts are 18K with butterfly backs as standard; screw backs and clip fittings are available at no extra cost.
Peridot Bezel Studs is one of the references we will rebuild to order. Straightforward changes — a different centre stone, a change of metal to white gold, carat weight up or down and a matte, satin or hammered finish in place of the polish — are specified in the customisation studio and add nothing to the lead time; booking and pricing follow once the specification is settled. Structural changes, such as taking this stud to a different architecture entirely, need a conversation and a new CAD; that runs six to eight weeks from approval. Private-label and OEM versions of this mount are quoted from one piece upward.

Work from underneath; the film that kills brilliance collects behind the stone, not on it. Store separately and flat — a shared pouch is a slow-motion accident. Remove before contact sport, gardening, and whenever you apply fragrance, sunscreen or hand cream.
