Customise this pieceReference SI-078 is a pendant necklace, made in 18K White Gold, carrying 8 stones and built around a single point of interest at the sternum. It measures 18.0 mm diameter, and weighs 3.4 g gross. It sits in the everyday fine part of the book, and is made to your specification — price and booking on request, once we understand what you want changed.
The drawing started from the stone. Diamond at this size wants a pendant treatment — the only stone that scratches itself. In this form, the bail is sized to the chain rather than to the eye. A bird on a branch inside a plain circle, carved rather than cast. Small enough to wear under a collar.

The mount is cast in 18K White Gold, then filed, emeried and pre-polished before setting. The setting on SI-078 is rub-over bezel at 18.0 mm diameter. All 8 stones are seated individually against the reference tray rather than to a jig. Finishing is done in three passes, the last by hand, so the arrises stay sharp. It passes six inspection gates between wax and pouch.
Songbird Medallion is shown in 18K White Gold — 18K, 75% fine gold, rhodium-plated over a white alloy, renewed free for life. The same mount can be made in yellow gold, rose gold or 950 platinum, quoted on the metal weight of 3.4 g rather than a flat uplift. Platinum runs roughly a third above 18K on this design because it is denser and slower to work. All gold and platinum is BIS hallmarked with the ANAGARI maker's mark.
18K White Gold — 75% fine gold alloyed with palladium, then rhodium plated for whiteness. Re-plating is complimentary for life.
Total carat weight is 0.24 ct. Diamond is Mohs 10 and untreated — the only stone that scratches itself. Colour is matched across the run under standard light, and any stone over 0.30 ct in a diamond piece ships with an independent certificate. Colour stones carry an ANAGARI identification report; IGI or GIA certification is available at cost.
Diamond — Natural, conflict-free and traceable to the cutting house. Graded by IGI or GIA above 0.30 ct.
Weight, dimension and stone count are checked against the signed first article — 3.4 g on SI-078. Six inspection gates sit between wax and packing: wax, casting, pre-polish, setting, finish and final. Setting is checked at ten-power on all 8 stones, and nothing advances on a supervisor's word alone. Made in Jaipur under one roof, which is why a query is answered the same afternoon rather than the next month.
Songbird Medallion was made with the occasions that have historically called for white light, ordinary Tuesdays, which is the hardest test a piece faces and a wardrobe rather than an occasion in mind. Worn daily it will show its finish honestly, which is the intention. Supplied on a chain to your length; 40, 45 and 50 cm are stocked and anything else is made.
Songbird Medallion is one of the references we will rebuild to order. Straightforward changes — a different centre stone, a change of metal to yellow gold, carat weight up or down and a matte, satin or hammered finish in place of the polish — are specified in the customisation studio and add nothing to the lead time; booking and pricing follow once the specification is settled. Structural changes, such as taking this pendant to a different architecture entirely, need a conversation and a new CAD; that runs six to eight weeks from approval. Private-label and OEM versions of this mount are quoted from one piece upward.
