Bring a sketch on a napkin, a CAD file, a competitor's piece you have the rights to, or a description. We will tell you honestly what it costs to make well and what it costs to make cheaply, and let you choose.
How it starts
The awkward questions,
asked early
Before we quote anything we want to know three things: what it has to retail at, how many you realistically expect to sell in the first season, and who is going to wear it. Those answers change the construction more than the drawing does.
A ring that has to land at a certain price point with a certain margin is a different engineering problem from the same ring made without a ceiling. We would rather have that conversation at the start than hand you a beautiful sample you cannot afford to sell.

A CAD file
STL, 3DM or Matrix. Checked for castability, stone clearance and wall thickness before it can fail on the floor.
A physical piece
Post it to us and we reverse-engineer to gauge — provided you own the design. We will ask, and decline if not.
A paragraph
Enough to begin. Describe the piece, the customer and the price band, and three directions come back drawn up.
Concept to carton
Nine stages, one building
Drag the track. Every stage below happens in Jaipur, under the same roof and the same supervisor, which is the only reason we can promise a date and mean it.

Concept
A brief becomes a direction. We argue about proportion, wearability and price band before anything is drawn properly.

Design & CAD
Hand drawing goes to parametric CAD. You get turntable renders and a stone plot to sign off before wax is cut.

Prototype
Resin print, cast, and a first article finished to production standard — the piece you approve is the piece you receive.

Stone selection
Parcels are pulled, laid out under standard light and matched across the run for colour, cut and depth.

Production
Casting, filing, setting and assembly. Work is batched by operation so a run stays consistent piece to piece.

Finishing
Pre-polish, setting-back, final polish and plating. The stage that separates a good casting from a finished jewel.

Inspection
Six gates, ten-power loupe, weight and dimension logged against the approved article. Failures return to bench, not to you.

Packing
Individually pouched, boxed to your specification, and carton-packed with a manifest that matches the invoice line for line.

Delivery
Insured and documented to your door — customs paperwork, assay certificates and lab reports travelling with the goods.
Terms
Exclusivity, in writing
Anything developed for you belongs to you. It does not appear in our sample book, it is not shown at trade fairs, and it is not offered to another buyer in a different stone.
There is not. We will make one piece. What changes with volume is the unit price, because tooling, wax and setup are spread across more pieces — and we show you that curve honestly at quotation so you can decide where the sensible break point is for your programme.
From approved CAD, ten to fourteen working days for a finished first article in most metals. Complex stone-setting or carved components can run to three weeks. CAD itself is usually three to five days from a clear brief.
You do, when it originates with you or is developed for you. That is written into the engagement rather than implied. We do not show client work in our book, offer it to another buyer, or make it in a slightly different colourway for someone else.
If you own the design or hold the rights, yes — send the physical piece and we will reverse-engineer it to gauge. If it is another house's protected design, we will tell you so and decline. We would want the same protection for you.
For a first order, half at confirmation and half against inspection photographs before dispatch. Established accounts move to net thirty against a shipping document. Metal is charged at the rate on the day of casting, which we state on the invoice.
